Blue Corded Beauty

A reworked 1970s pit, reshaped into a softer, more sculptural modular with rounded lines and a deep, lounge-ready seat.

Blue cord beauty. Modeled after a previous HiLo favorite, this modular piece takes a classic 1970s pit and pushes it into a more modern, sculptural direction.

Here’s what we did:

• Modified the straight-edge corner pieces into a rounded profile
• Increased seat depth and width by 3”, creating a generous 27” seat
• Added an attached, rounded biomorphic foam back
• Sloped the arms for a softer, more inviting feel
• Upholstered in a midnight blue corduroy

The result is deep, soft, and easy—clean lines with just enough curve to keep it interesting.
